The AXIS P1265 Mk II is a modular pinhole camera for discreet indoor surveillance. This camera is part of Axis Communications’ P12 series. It features a compact form factor, making it ideal for installations where space is limited or the camera must be concealed. The camera boasts a 1080p HDTV resolution, ensuring high-quality video capture. It is equipped with a 3.7 mm fixed lens with a 91° horizontal field of view, suitable for monitoring vast areas. The camera also supports Axis’ Forensic Capture wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, which enhances image quality in challenging lighting conditions by balancing dark and bright areas in the scene.
The AXIS P1265 Mk II supports multiple video compression formats, including H.264 and Motion JPEG, which help optimize bandwidth and storage usage. It also features Axis’ Zipstream technology, reducing bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. The camera is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation by eliminating the need for separate power cables. Additionally, it includes a memory card slot for local storage and supports HTTPS encryption and IEEE 802.1X for secure network communication. The operating temperature range for the camera is -20 to 50 °C, making it suitable for various indoor environments.
