Multipath Devices

The Inner Range Multipath range features a series of high-performance 4G security communicators designed to match different risk profiles. They can be connected to most Contact-ID-enabled security systems for 4G alarm transmission.

  • T4000 Security Communicator: This standard model includes dual 4G and Ethernet alarm transmission paths, router functionality through Inner Range’s SkyTunnel cloud-based infrastructure, and compatibility with various alarm systems for seamless IP connectivity.
  • T4000 Lite: T4000 Lite: This is a budget-conscious version of the standard T4000. It does not include the onboard battery charger or PSTN dial-through functions of the standard T4000.
  • T4000X Expanded Security Communicator: The Inner Range T4000X Expanded Security Communicator has 8 inputs and 8 outputs, enhancing its functionality for more complex security requirements.
    .
The device can sense the presence of various inputs and can control outputs directly, which can be configured for specific functions such as siren and strobe alerts. It also supports high-security monitoring using polling, ensuring the reliable and fast transmission of critical alarm events to a Monitoring Centre.

T4000X can also be integrated with Inner Range’s SkyTunnel cloud-based infrastructure for seamless IP connectivity. This is particularly useful for integrating access control and security systems. Users can also arm or disarm the areas via the SkyCommand app.

Multipath Alarm Transmission

Multipath uses internet protocol (IP), combined with traditional alarm reporting systems to deliver critical alarm events to the alarm Monitoring Centre via a secure & lightning-fast network. High security monitoring is achieved using a polled communications where Multpipath devices communicate with the monitoring centre at intervals as frequent as every 10 seconds. If these polls fail to be delivered within the allocated time, Multipath will attempt to re-establish the connection to the alarm Monitoring Centre using an alternate path.

If a failed connection cannot be reestablished within a pre-determined time then an alarm is raised within the Monitoring Centre. Multipath supports most existing security systems and is independently certified to Australian standard AS2201.5 Class 5 which is the highest class available.
