The AXIS Q1971-E is a robust thermal camera designed for reliable detection and verification in all conditions, 24/7. This halogen-free device utilizes thermal technology to provide consistent performance regardless of weather or lighting, making it ideal for perimeter protection. It offers five lens alternatives (7 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, and 35 mm) for optimal installation flexibility. The camera features thermal palettes to help visually identify different heat sources, making scene interpretation more efficient. Additionally, it incorporates electronic image stabilization (EIS) to ensure stable video in various environments.
Built on a powerful platform, the AXIS Q1971-E comes pre-installed with AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard, and AXIS Loitering Guard for proactive surveillance. It also supports AXIS Perimeter Defender with AI-based functionality for enhanced detection and classification of humans and other objects. The camera is equipped with two I/O ports for connecting external devices, such as horn speakers for audio alarms or strobe sirens for visual deterrents. With its uncooled microbolometer sensor, the AXIS Q1971-E offers a thermal sensitivity of <20mK @ 25°C and a sensor resolution of 384x288.
